Brute Squad is a very clever role playing system. It is different from ohter RPGs. It has only one class: Brutes (barbarians).
The character creation is a matter of 5-10 minutes.
The resolution system is one of the best I've ever seen. It makes use of a lot of d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20. It is so easy, but yet it has a deep and fun strategy, combining dice with storytelling.
There is a map of the Kingdom, the world of the game. There are descriptions of all the places of the map. There is a bestiary. And all of them in 70 pages. The system is until page 26. The other pages are the world and the bestiary. I'm very impressed about the resolution system. It is so fun and easy.
It is suitable for kids and women, that prefer storytelling, than counting numbers. The players can even steal dice from the pool of dice, that the GM has.
And speaking of GM, it is very easy to create an adventure with this system, because you don't have to worry about statistics. The GM concentrates only in storytelling.
I'm very plresed that I' ve found this RPG.
